DREAM COHORTS
“Dreams, being metaphorical, being the connection between the spiritual and the physical, are the language of the soul.” - Marion Woodman
Winter 2027 Cohort: A Lantern in the Dark
In the depths of winter, we’ll nest together to still ourselves in order to hear what whisperings our dreams want us to hear, individually and collectively, in these times. Our exploration will be guided in the lineage of Marion Woodman, with a Jungian perspective, and our analysis will be not intellectual but embodied, focusing on feeling tone, deep imagination, creative insight, and how the body wants to tell the story. Come to listen and come to share, and, perhaps, come to find how delightfully woven your dreams are with those of other women as together we craft our container for all parts of ourselves to dwell free.
Each session will include opportunities to share your dreams and/or listen to the dreams of other women, an exploration of those dreams via journeying through deep imagination, art-making, or yoga Nidra, and a story or myth to guide us as a lantern along the trail.
No previous experience with dreamwork is necessary, and you will be provided with frameworks and a guide to support you in your personal exploration and participation. Optional participation in a WhatsApp group is also provided for connection outside of meeting times to share dreams, art, and insights. Finally, you can participate fully online or hybrid by attending sessions for the second half of the cohort in person. Rates for hybrid participation are slightly higher to cover the cost of nourishing snacks and teas, and care for the space that we’ll use.
Meeting dates, 6:30-8:30pm EST:
JANUARY 4, 18, 25 (Online) + January 11 no meeting, but a Yoga Nidra recording will be provided.
FEBRUARY 1, 8, 15, 22 (Online or In-Person), Marshall, NC (exact location TBD)
